Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment Overall Rank: 157
Use of the Dual Disorders Integrated Treatment Fidelity scale, a non-validated 16-item measure of fidelity of the practice to the principles of integrated treatment for mental health and substance misuse problems.
A condition in which a person has both a major mental illness and another health problem (e.g., development disability, substance abuse, personality disorder, or other general medical conditions such as heart disease or cancer).

  • I don’t actually know if this particular scale is relevant/useable in primary health care, but fidelity to practice idea is relevant
  • This scale is only relevant to a very narrow area of comorbid mental health
  • Measuring the quality of what was ACTUALLY provided (e.g. through fidelity scales such as this) is more important than counting the number of visits
