Data Subproject

The purpose of the CEQM data subproject is to identify data quality standards for primary mental health care quality measures and to recommend future directions for the implementation of these measures into existing health data systems. The ultimate goal is to foster the development of Canadian health data infrastructures which allow for quality measurement in primary mental health care.

Data Subproject Objectives

To review literature and report on the definition and specification of quality measures
To report on current primary mental health care related data projects and future plans for such projects in Canada
To report on the immediate and intermediate steps required to implement potential primary mental health care quality measures into the existing or proposed health data infrastructures
To utilize knowledge acquired in the above process to inform other parts of the CEQM project (e.g. quality measure specification will be used as part of the National Consensus subproject).
