Desired outcome is improved access to consultation/advice; reduced clinician isolation; and reduced costs for travel and training expenses.

  • Tele-health, as currently organized does not include enough expertise for autism. More important is availability of expertise.
  • * Tele-health is important for rural or remote areas-and First Nations communities, especially those communities only accessible by air.
  • * Why only PDD? Tele-health can be used for wide range of in-services and assessment.
