Routine screening for COD is crucial but one scale does not fit all services (i.e. crisis services need to screen but a 5-20 minute screener is not the answer here). Each service needs to find an appropriate screener and use routinely (e.g. Brown 2 item s
This tool excludes many mental health conditions with DSM-IV criteria.
This scale was designed for substance abuse population to identify mental health issues not both in primary care. PRIME or other are better.
